now that I'm using iphone, worst ! I've become stupid using other brands of mobile.

I just started using iphone last week. Hubby switches over to window phone & I don't want to let my kids use iphone to play games so I took over his iphone.

I didn't bother getting a smart phone earlier since very low usage. Mainly for sms & calling my kids when I'm fetching them. My call time usually less than 30 minutes each month.

Guess what, I realised I've learning disabilities for smart phone too :faint:

No worries, it is a matter of getting used to it. After that, you can't do without it cos you can surf the Internet, log in KSP, listen to your favourite music and play some games.

If you have been using the phone to SMS, you can download this free apps called Whatsapp - it is free SMSing as long as the other party that you SMS to has the same apps. You can even do multiple-chat with more than 1 person.

        Enjoy your adventure ! πŸ˜‰

I have 150min outgoing calls but hardly exceed. As for sms, certain months I do exceed 500. Not all my friends have What’sapp.

Alternate between iphone and Sony Xperia. I like the Xperia bcos of the nice ringtones. There were a few times when I was out and thought my iphone rang…only to realize the others around me were using same ringtone. So I switched to Xperia. It was tough to adjust but wanted to do something different for a change.

              Blessedwife,

You will learn as you go along! When I first became a SAHM, I had one child but no help coz I was overseas for one year with hubby. I knew how to do housework, coz no maid before that, but it was a huge challenge to manage on my own with one child. 6 years later, I find myself overseas again with no help and with three children!!! I was worried about how I would cope since I had a tough time the last time round. But I guess I have learnt a few tricks over the years! It has been much easier than anticipated. Very tiring coz I am on the job all day long with no help at all, but I am managing!! Have become very efficient! Good at delegating to my minions (DS1 and DS2) too!

                Did you homeschool your kids?

I already πŸ˜“ with 2 kids. Factory closed permanently for 3rd.
Sometimes my mom would comment that we should have tried for a 3rd child. I asked her 'would you be helping to babysit?' She :siam:
                End of discussion :rotflmao:

You're right! kind of getting addicted after a while.

Hubby downloaded viber and line for me. So now I'm chatting with my best friend every day on the go and a couple of other not frequent in contact friends.

I got the feeling that I don't have enough friends because now I wanted to chat all the time :rotflmao:

That's the beauty of technology. Nowadays , I can view photos of my friends and their loved ones, update each other of our current status in fb even though we are countries apart. Of course , personal stuff we still communicate via phone or we try to meet up and talk face to face.

One thing about SAHM, we need to go out have make friends or make time for our friends. They are our \"support\" group. Used to go aerobic classes with them but since most of the classes are in the evening, I stop for almost a year to keep an eye on my dd for her PSLE this year. Hope to join my kakis soon.

                      Agreed!

But don't know why my SAHM friends are so busy till they got no time to meet. They live rather far away too. Then they asked me why I have so much free time :faint: while they felt like they're running in circles everyday

Once a month, I meet up with my best friend who is single for movies and karoke. She is also the one I chat through viber everyday πŸ˜‚

On a typical week, while kids are in school, I go gym alone, go aerobics/kickboxing classes alone, go shopping alone, watch online drama alone, read manga alone.

Actually during my younger days, I even go travelling alone when I couldn't find anyone whose schedule available to go together.

Fortunately I enjoy ME time very much πŸ˜‰ but it's still good to meet old friends face to face to catch up or even do activities together. I think I need to get to know the neighbhourhood SAHMs but don't know where to start

For me, I don't dare to make friends with the neighbourhood SAHM . Friendly greeting and hello is ok but friends ... A bit difficult cos there is one incident happened to my neighbour upstairs. Just one small misunderstanding, someone gossip to someone and the word spreaded like fire. Before long, the whole neighbourhood knows about it. Now the children of my neighbours always take the staircase or will run into the lift if no one is taking out of embarrassment. Poor thing.

So I only maintain friendly relationship with them. Lim kopi with them... Ekkk... I will avoid them cos I don't like to gossip. So I usually do my grocery marketing in another NTUC which is bigger and less likely to bump into them.

One GF and I are planning to travel to HK together maybe this year end. Our DH will be taking care of our DC when we two travel. The thought of it really excites me ! :imcool: :boogie:
