How much do they charge per trip?

Details you have to check with the operator πŸ˜„

So are the operator who provide the regular bus service same as the one who provide the per trip service?

Reason for asking is if it is the same then easier to coordinate as its the same driver and bus.

      Please advise. Thanks.

Oh... same operator does not means same bus driver and bus, and usually the buses for CCA pick up are smaller ones.

If your child is taking those 30+ seaters bus for before and after school, then very likely it will be a different bus and driver for after CCA.

I believe most parents choose not to enroll their P1/P2 children in any CCA mainly also bcos of transport arrangement.

If so roughly how much is it charging?

By the way, any parents can advise what are the advantages of having CCA in P1 and P2?

Based on my last year orientation day experience ...

Yes, you can get the books (usually not all) and uniform on the orientation day. However, you need not rush to get everything done. All parents will be given an orientation kit on the day, read through them while waiting. Get the key stuff settle such as GIRO submission for school fee, dental opt-in/out, bus arrangement etc.

Books and uniform purchase can be follow-up at a less stressful pace. School will provide the opening dates and hours of bookstore during Nov/Dec.

Of course, if you feel that since you have already took a day leave (not sure if this coming P1 orientation going to be weekday or weekend) may as well settle everything, sure, just remember to bring enough cash.

Books, Stationery, PE attire, School Socks, etc
parents will receive the book list via post before the orientation, so parents who have hand down books or prefer to buy from popular can plan their purchase accordingly.

there are items which definitely have to get from the bookstore such school exercise books, PE t-shirts, socks, etc

I remember there was an online ordering option too but I didn't use it.

                Uniform
Parents can buy the school uniform on the orientation day. Again, expect long queue.

If there is no change in supplier, parents can purchase the uniform directly from the supplier at Katong Shopping Center πŸ˜„

Again, all the suppliers/operators details will be made available to parents.

You can choose to let your son goes under the school dental routine check-up or choose to opt out.

My boy has his regular dentist since 3 yrs old, hence i opt him out from the school dental service. Which means i have no idea how nowadays school dentist practice is like :scratchhead:

During my times, I remember whenever we saw a nurse with a mask holding a card entered the classroom, everyone started to shiver... :nailbite: LOL
