Hi
alamak!! sorry sorry very sorry.
No worries, let’s move on to do the revised question.
There are a few ways to go about doing this question.
It’s useful if students are able to see that the number of children in the library stays the same before and after.
Make the total number of units the same in both scenarios.
At first (at 2 pm)
Girls : Boys ------ 5:4 (9) ------ 35:28 (63)
Change
Girls : Boys ------ -40:+40
In the end (after 2pm)
Girls : Boys ------ 3:4 (7) ------ 27:36 (63)
8 units ------ 40
1 unit ------ 5
Number of girls @ first ------ 35*5 ------ 175
36 – 27 ------ 9
9*5 ------- 45
There are 45 more boys than girls after 2 pm.

Hi, pls advise.
Jenny bought some strawberries and wanted to put them into boxes. If she put 4 strawberries into each box, there will be 3 strawberries left. If she put 6 strawberries into each box, there will be 5 strawberries left.
(a) if the nos. of strawberries is btw 100 - 150, how many strawberries did Jenny buy?
(b) if Jenny decided to put all strawberries equally into 16 bags, what is the minimum nos. of bag she would need?
Thank you. -

Hi
Good Morning.
131 is one of possible answers. The others are 107, 119 or 143.
You can do a check with the other numbers and will be able to see that the conditions are met.

Perhaps, you may want to clarify with the school teacher.
