Yes. Independent school fees around this price. But considering we also pay about this much for our pre schooler per month, these secondary school kids learn much more for the same fee!

          Lol. Trying to console myself.

RGS and NYGH IPs are charging same (thereabouts) fees.
Those who score above 260 have EESIS so net pay $100 per month plus misc fees. That translates to almost all RGS girls and a significant proportion of NYGH girls.
The MGS fees for IP is in line and not out of the norm.

Ques: MGS per class for IP max how many girls?
RGS and NYGH class sizes are huge (over 30) considering they pay this type of fees :slapshead:
The boys IP schools have smaller class sizes!

Due to the high fees charged by non government IPs, some parents of kids who can qualify IP but not EESIS prefer their kids to go to government schools like NJC and Dunman which charges a grand total of ......<$20 per month for fees! So mainly just need to pay for misc fees. However, as I explained in EESIS thread, I believe the government is out to help with various assistance schemes for non government IPs.

Fyi - NJC Junior High class size 25 per class and fees less than $20 per month! Such a good deal

Actually SCGS is only $30 lesser for o level track and same $300 for SC for IP:

                    http://www.scgs.edu.sg/content/view/27/27/

Both RI and RGS also the same for SC for IP programmes:

                    RI: http://www.ri.edu.sg/main/schoolinfo/forstudents/admissionfee/schoolfees

                    RGS: http://www.rgs.edu.sg/newsite/2010SchFees_ExistingStudents.pdf

Yeah NJC has cheaper fees structure:

                    1. What is the fee structure like for the Integrated Boarding Programme?

Junior High students pay the same fees as students in government secondary schools.

                    2. Do students have to pay for additional enrichment programmes that are organised for them?

As the school fees do not cover the cost of additional enrichment programmes, students will have to pay for these programmes on their own. Singaporean students may withdraw funds from their Edusave accounts for this purpose.

School fees for the IP schools are all about the same. It’s more expensive at SOTA, about $350 a month for SCs. Understandable bec of the arts programmes the students have.
