Spouse or Kids? Which comes first?

You tell dd2 to hide in her room to do. Or maybe she intend to cook for you!

Dunno. No hints.
She also mentioned abt buying me something... like clothes.
There was once I dressed up (ok felt like dressing up
) slightly nicer than usual and she said wow mom how come you dress up so nicely today? I replied cos I always look like a maid so thought I wanna look nice for myself today even tho I'm still a lil fat.
She then baulked and screeched... fat?? Mom... you look like a model!
:faint:
PS. Jedababe... speaking of DS2 I recall him in our chatter here too. :please:

Btw jeda.. reading back abt Prime... I hafta say that from my slight observation you seem to be more in love with him and appreciating him (even more) now that you're finally on your own.
Mebbe it's just me.
Oh we'll, nothing beats our own crib aye? -

Heehee, I still have a small one for me to squeeze & kiss. DS2 still wants that even though p3. DS1 moves away when I did that. DS1 mature faster & think & act beyond his age. I'm glad as he's more independent & helps around the house.
Ya boi... Children - they just grow up so fast .. in fact too fast ! Enjoy and treasure those moments where they still allow us to hold their hands, hug and kiss them ! :love:jedamum:

Thanks. He sure is.
Must hang on to these precious moments before they feel that we are uncool when they grow up.

Just yesterday DD told me when we were on the way home she was glad we still have a complete family unit. Most of her classmates parents are either divorced, in the process having cold war and arguing constantly. Her ex school principal during a casual conversation also told us that divorced families are most likely 40% of the school population...
how old is your dd , mummyv?
mawar and verykiasumummy - I was shocked at the percentage. I even asked the Principal sure a not? Upon reflection am not sure if P sees more problem students and so his comments are skewed... but DD rough count among her gal frens, it is the case. Perhaps it's a more permissive / self absorbed society now. -

Last time, people talk louder & dun really have this notion about dun argue in front of kids in case affect their emotional well-being. So kids used to that. Just like MIL who uses very harsh voice to speak & my kids used to ask me why she's scolding people.
These days we tend not to raise our voice unnecessarily, avoid arguing in front of kids etc.....so kids will see it as something unusual/serious. But I must agree, divorce rate is certainly higher. -
