I have somewhat been there.
It is still unresolved. But I am not giving up.
The horrible thing is that a/some member(s), holding position(s) of authority, instead of informing me, went on the sly to PM the link with distorted info to other(s) for his/her/their perusal. And to think that we used to chat online here.
How hurtful.
ps: I don't wish to pursue this online.
Why like that? I join forums to have a good time - chit chat with likeminded folks, learn from those who share useful info. And i would have thought most folks are like that...

Its like that nowadays. When people think they are anonymous they tend to forget some basic etiquette. I am actually in favor of our dear minister to make ourselves more accountable online. Freedom of speech is good and dandy, but without any forms of personal accountability it can be easily abused by malicious individuals and cause distress to others.

Hmm, let me try to create a timeline for this:
1. carnagejane started the 'what i hate about singapore' thread
2. she proceeded to insult quite a few people in it
3. I posted that I like to look at chiobus also like any other normal men and carnagejane began insulting me
4. carnagejane got banned
5. she was unhappy and threatened to sue Chiefkiasu
6. Chiefkiasu gave his contact detail
7. instead of sending lawyer letter to Chiefkiasu she started a blog and put Chief's details online AND also mine. She alleged that both of us are lechers and creepy. And people should stop doing business with us.
8. she also additionally posted a thread in Stomp forum linking it to her wordpress blog
9. today my student's parents told me somebody has posted nasty things about me online. If you google my actual name, the link to the wordpress blog is on the first page of the results. I was very angry.
10. I started this thread for awareness and also informed Chiefkiasu.
Hopefully I didn't miss anything.
