Else, I really have no ideas what's the solutions cos its different from what I learnt last time.

Questions 1-6 are all question from excess n shortage - whole numbers.

that means 9-3+1=7

Breadth = 105 x (5/7) = 75m
Perimeter =
= 2 x {(105 -1-1) + ( 75 -1-1)}
= 352m

For area
Method 1
Area of footpath
=Total area - area of garden
= 105 x 75 - [( 75 -1-1) x (105 -1-1) - (2 x 4) ]
= 364 square meters
Method 2

Area of footpath
= [ 2 x 105 x 1 ] + [ 2 x (75 -1-1) ] + (2 x 4)
= 364 square meters

Let me try

Breath of park = length X 5/7 = 105 X 5/7 = 75

Perimeter of garden = [(length of park -1 -1) + (breath of park -1 -1)] X 2 = (103 + 73) X 2 = 352m

Area of footpath (divide up the shaded area into rectangles) (one way to divide up shaded area into rectangles) = 105 + 105 + 73 + 73 + (4 X 2) = 364m2

in a game,every 2 bonus stickers will be given for every 6 sticker won. if Bala have 35 stickers, how many sticker did he win?


i cant seem to work this out, is there a typo error?
