      Can anyone share your experience or the type of questions that we can expect in Math performance task exam?

      Given titles are: Bar graphs, Money, Fractions, Length, Mass and volume.
      TIA
      Is the performance task over? Could you kindly share the experience? Thanks. Our school did not have this year although they had last year.

        jessielu:

        Mrs Chan bought 270 sandwiches for a party. She bought 3 times as many egg sandwiches as ham sandwiches and twice as many ham sandwiches as tuna sandwiches. How many egg sandwiches did she buy ?

        Egg sanwiches =6 units.
        Ham =2units,
        Tuna = 1unit.
        therefore 9units = 270
        1uint = 270/9 = 30
        so egg = 30 x 6 = 180.

        How to know egg sandwiches =6 units ?

          If tuna is one unit , ham will be 2 units
          If ham is 2 units then egg will be 6 units.

              work backwards..
              that is
              \"twice as many ham sandwiches as tuna sandwiches\"
              if tuna 1 unit means ham will be 2 units
              \"3 times as many egg sandwiches as ham sandwiches\"
              we know that ham ham is equal to 2 units so
              egg will be( 2 x 3 😃 6 units

                  Ratio: $5 : $10 -----> 4u : 1u ----> Total = 5u

                  35/5 = 7 ------> 1u =7

                  $5 = 7x4 = 28 pieces
                  $10=7x1 = 7 pieces

                  Total amount of money = (28x$5) + (7x$10) = $210

                      Hi Parents

                      Appreciate your help on P3B text book question.

                      Total length of ribbon A & B is 30cm. Mrs Sim cut 3cm from ribbon A. In the end, ribbon B is twice as long as ribbon A. What is the length of ribbon A?

                      I got 2 possible answers, 9 and 13. May I know which one is correct?

                      Thank you very much for assisting.

                        The q is not clear, is it asking for A before cutting or after cutting? Before cutting, A is 12cm, after cutting, A is 9cm
