I like CX. Price range is good, service is awesome (food included), and their in-flight entertainment is also excellent. Plus, their flights are usually on time and at times reached the destination early.


CX is always my 1st choice, if price permits.

But I have also read about CX having some technical issues recently.

But I do find their cabin crew more attractive ..

Cathay pacific also my first choice when come to travelling to hong kong with kids. choice of timings better than SQ, love their kids meals n activities packs. Just bought their \"disney magic in the air package\" for coming dec

my experience with CX was many yrs ago, but their great service with my mind till now. Will travel CX next mth, hopefully the standard still there

Agrees. Prefer CX compared to SQ for HK route.


During our trip in Dec 2009, my parents were offered to be put on a later flight with free upgrade to business class and shopping vouchers thrown in. But they didn’t take up the offer as they prefers to fly same timing as us (we were on SQ) – if only the offer were given to me instead! In the end they still upgraded the two old folks to business class. They didn’t realised till seated down and were thrilled .

I got upgraded to business class once when flew solo.

Since then CX is my favourite.
