I can't rem but does anyone know if RGPS is going to move to the temporarily premises in 2014 ? So for kids starting starting P1 in that year , it will be in the temp location right ? Will the school inform us in next year's registration and how long will they be there ?

Temporary occupancy for 2 years -
starting wef from Jan 2014 Term 1 until Nov 2015 Term 4 @ address:-

53, Mount Sinai Road in Holland, Singapore 276880

      so, your daughter will study:-

2014 P1 (Mount Sinai): PM afternoon session

2015 P2 (Mount Sinai): PM afternoon session

2016 P3 to 2019 P6 PSLE (shift back to Hillcrest Bukit Timah permanently): Single session

in due time, the school will notify /inform parents who had been successful in enrolling their child into the school -
after July 2013 Primary 1 Registration, but before P1 Orientation in Nov 2013.

      ================================================================================
past Historical P1 Registration statistics / data:-
      ======================================
      Total enrolment for (P1 2005 intake) = 360 pupils (ie. 12 classes)

      Total enrolment for (P1 2006 and P1 2007 intake) = 330 pupils (ie. 11 classes)

      Total enrolment from (P1 2008 upto P1 2011 intake) = 300 pupils (ie. 10 classes)

      Total enrolment for (P1 2012 and P1 2013 intake) = 270 pupils (ie. 9 classes)

      http://www.rgps.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=52943

going forward - from P1 2014 intake onwards:-
very high chance that Total enrolment reduced to 240 pupils (ie. 8 classes)
current Phase 2B Parent Volunteers who are staying more than 1 or 2 km from Bukit Timah Hillcrest address -
may confirm /clarify with the school.

in the event if demand exceeding vacancies available, Balloting exercise is based upon the permanent Hillcrest address, NOT based upon Temporary Mount Sinai Holland address.

            Mummysingle:
            Which school should I choose?

            ACS Barker
            ACS Junior
            St Joseph Institution Junior
            Tao Nan
all these 4 hot, popular schools you mention -
            Phase 2C:
            require balloting, within 1 km.
Thus consider only those school where you stay within less than 1 km.

            example:-
            i) ACS Junior
for P1 registration statistics - copy below, paste onto URL, hit <Enter>:-
            \"http://www.acsjunior.sg/docs/Forms/P1%20Registration%20Data%282012%29.pdf\"

            ii) Tao Nan
            Phase 2B: 53 places

            within 1 km = 75
            between 1 and 2 km = 3
            outside 2 km = 2
Balloting Exercise was conducted for Phase 2B for applicants ( Singapore Citizens ) staying within 1km .

            Phase 2C: 53 places

            within 1 km = 78
            between 1 and 2 km = 0 (3 withdrawals)
            outside 2 km = 1

Balloting Exercise was conducted for Phase 2C for applicants ( Singapore Citizens ) staying within 1km .

            iii)
Phase 2C for SJIJ and ACS Barker:-

                    Hi Everyone -

Regarding Pei Chun Public School in Toa Payoh, I was wondering if anyone has information about the last 2 years’ registration situation. I am particularly interested in Phase 2C < 1km. If there were balloting in 2012 and 2011? If so what were the percentage (i.e. x places for x applicatants)?

                    Thanks in advance.
