any advice? not sure if I should buy cam from Sim Lim Sq (400-1000) or get package from telcon with monthly sub fee $70 x 24mths.

Do u all think a ip CCTV that can record is necessary? Or just a ip cctv that cannot record will be sufficient?

IMO: recording is crucial
I cant be monitoring 24/7… But I can fast forward 1 day into 1hr or less…
and true, prevention is cure… But if the "anything" were to happen I would definately want to have a recording. -

I wish to ensure that the activities in my living room are recorded. I don’t plan to record/view the personal life of the maid and hence room will be free of camera.
Can anyone suggest some good quality recorder that can be installed easily and inexpensively in my living room?
