At least one other school i know, did not receive any notification. I presumed since DS did not receive anything (including the rejection letter) means maybe his school hasn't too?

By now, all schools should get the letter. Perhaps the kids never get in, school chose to be silence. That happened in the other schools.

All the GEP 1st round qualifier didn’t even know who went in last year. Until early this this at P4, they were told that this boy transferred out for GEP programme. The letters were also distributed early this year at P4.

That small envelope was given beginning at this year, when they are in P4 this year. Strange school. Why is there so secretive about announcing GEP qualifiers.

Every child is unique and special. Everyone is smart in his or her own way. GEP is just a ruler to measure one very specific dimension, like whether you are taller or shorter.


To be happy and/or successful, it depends much more on what values and character you build in your child.
