Will it be easier to gain admission to the IP in School A if you were from the O level track of School A, than if you were from School B?
perhaps u can try first choice IP programme of a secondary school then the second choice is the O level programme of the same secondary school, in this way if the child does not get the IP programme, the child can still go to the same dual programme secondary school and try again at the end of sec 2 for admission into sec 3 IP.4_my_son:
Hi,
I need some advice. DS got 250+1.
Would this be enough for an IP programme? Any school to recommend?
It seems 250+1 is good enough for many good schools e.g. SJI, VS, CHS, ACS(I) under the O-level track, but falls short of the cut-off point for IP programme A-Level track. So near, yet so far........
Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks.
From a concerned dad.
That is, is there any advantage of being in the O level track of a dual-track school? -
GLORYmum:
Hi Janet,
I rem your ds was sick during psle, any help to appeal under this consideration ?
I rem reading somewhere on ksp that moe may take this into consideration.
U hv been a tireless mom and worked hard for your Dc.
Do not get disheartened by today result, boys generally mature later than girls.
We are behind you, pls write here if this help you sooth the pain for now.
And for only272, you are a disgrace be you a parent or child. U hv the choice to resit psle and get the 28x or 29x you need. This forum is not suitable for you cos you do not offer encouragement, support, and there is no constructive information from you.
Furious to see you rub salt in janet. Waste of our time commenting on your selfish act.
I don't have a child that's doing PSLE this year... but I would like to join GLORYmum to put across my thoughts for member only272.... We are deeply disappointed by your comments replied to member Janet_Lee.
My sympathy to you, member only272. -

Hi,
I’ve a few questions, not sure if it’s appropriate to post it here:
1) with the same T-score, will my 1st choice will be of higher priority than your 2nd choice?
2) Is everyone offered Malay/Arabic for 3rd language?
3) My child is eligible for SAP school. But he didn’t meet the MOE’s requirement of MT = A* or HMT <= MERIT. Does it mean if he goes to SAP, he will do Normal MT? I also heard that some SAP schools offer only HMT. Thus, does it mean then the MOE’s requirement will be overriden?
TIA! -
Hei, dont compare the scores with others children. Parents compare your child's scores with your own and be happy. If you dont have one, be happy that he or she scored good marks. Dont compare with other children. My wishes to all children who sat for PSLE.
