Any feedback from parents Mindstretcher Maths is better or Just Edu Maths (in terms of their materials).

I heard that Just hires people to write their materials. Are these writers qualified and experienced teachers or are they just undergraduates or polytechnic students? What about Mindstretcher? Who wrote their curriculum? Anyone knows of any learning centres who engages experienced teachers to write and to teach in their centres?

My 2 gals in mind stretcher Sembawang for 6months and I didn’t see any improvement. The teacher will write on the whiteboard everytime then the children copy the answer that’s all…

Recently I went thru with her the worksheets then she unable to explain to me like mathematics questions etc. Quite disappointed… Both teachers frm diff lvl and they do the same kind of teaching. If I need someone to write the answers on the whiteboard and ask my gal to copy must as well I get anyone or even primary school student to do it! If my DH or myself got time to teach them I wun be wasting my money there… Will consider just education

Frankly, i don't like MS customer service (Bishan).

There is no CS in MS (Bishan)...I avoid going talking to the staff if I can (except for one of the admin staff (non-chinese), she is helpful..the rest of the staff - CMI, face so black and stern all the time
The teachers that taught my gal was good..she has been with her for more than 2 years, but she has left the center last month..I hope the replacement teacher will be as good as her..gotta monitor closely

Yes ! GST was quite steep. I already pull my child out of MindStretcher, placed her in Just Education.

Just Education may revise tuition fee in March or April next year. This is for kindergarten level that I enquired 2 months back. 1.5hr enrichment will be extended to 2hours. What held me back was the timetable of lessons. Seems to clash with other enrichment classes of my child. Either I focus to solely teach my child or I outsource to tuition centre. I have to admit that Mindstretcher worksheets are more challenging than Just Education worksheets. It all boils down to the teacher who teach the child in the enrichment centre. One last comment to share, Just Education customer service is excellent, so much better than Mindstretcher’s.

I'm considering Just Education. Too many choices in Sembawang don't know which one is good :slapshead:
