hey guys. any school can produce one or two top students. However, what I want to know more is the quality passes. For example, how many get A or A*, how many students score 250 and above.

The sec school open house we visited yesterday has teachers who were forthcoming to explain what is taught in their school...each booth was manned by teacher from the dept.
Agree!!!That's why MOE removed the bands of each secondary school so that there will not be any bias against the better schoolsAtoZ:
***EVERY SCHOOL IS A GOOD SCHOOL***
Then no one needs tuition 冲 f or psle and all entered happily. :imcool:
So moving on, I really hope my son will get to enjoy his school :xedfingers: and TEACHERS WHO TEACH. I am not asking for too much right ?
Ultimately, this is the REASON why our kids go to school. -

Dear Parents,
Congratulation on your child's attainment of the 2012 PSLE results. The S1 posting is a hot topic during this season and a heart wrenching week too for parents to make a sound decision in collaboration with their child on the embarkation of the next milestone of the learning journey..... which school is good, which school is enriching, which school performs, which school strives for excellence ....
In brief, all school do strives for excellence in each of their unique way and culture ...
Utmost importance, your child enjoy learning, enjoy school, enjoy interaction with his/her peers ...
As parents, the S1 posting is rather a exhilarating and heart pounding season for us, the decisions we do derive take into consideration;
1) our child's learning aptitude
2) our child's learning potential for the years to come
3) travelling distance (spending hours travelling to n fro school is not productive, stress sets in easily with less resting hours)
4) competitive edge of the school or institution of choice
5) our current standpoint in the S1 selection (appeal for seat allocation can be quite stressful for the child)
In brief, all the Best For The S1 Posting ... I have underwent two exercise with my kids and they are doing relatively well in their respective niche ... one 'O' Level track ... one IP track ... utmost importance, make learning enjoyable, little or no stress, 3 Cheers to all Parents
