Yes, AHS is a good SAP school. They have modular kinda test every other week. My niece is there. They have track record for O level. From what I know, those scored 248 last year couldn't get into Cedar and end up in AHS.Can someone advise if Anglican High is a good school. Their 2 newly implemented programs of scholarship and parallel curriculum seem to benefit the good performer only.
How about their CCA? Which area are they strong in? They do not seem to have NPCC and soccer.
Thanks!
My niece join table tennis. -

U mean it will not affecr my chance of getting HD S (Hai Sing) if I put MS first choice and MS 2nd choice?
If you prefer MS than HS than you have to put MS as first choice. Posting is base on merit. He will be posted HS even before those who put it as 1st choice but have lower score than him.mummy so kiasu:
Putting MS as 2nd choice and HS as first choice - is this strategy a wise one? Sigh, such a tough decision
You should put the one with higher COP first. It will not affect your chance of getting into MS. Try to choose schools not more than 2 points above your child's score. Make sure than the last 2 choices are at least 2 points below your child's score. -
Dear all,
newbie here. my dd score 230.
pls help advise which sec sch to go. i stay at bukit panjang, but distance shouldn’t be a problem for us.
thanks in advance. -

I place Hai Sing as first choice to guarantee him a place in a school. Also, in case the COP gets raised to 226 then he wont make it, but at least that will make my appeal easier. I am considering appealing to MS based on his CCA-Band. As for my 6th choice, do you know which is better Bowen or Mayflower.? Both are very far, not ideal, but I dont have better ones near my house
Hi Bonnie,
Looking at your selection, you look like you stay in north east area. Your post caught my attention because we are also targetting ds for MS (because of the band) but that is in 2 years time... He is only P5 next year.
Hai Sing is in Pasir Ris. Won't that be too far from logistics pov?
I don't know the cut off for Holy Innocent. Also dunno if it is good but impression is is 220+ range???? Dunno if it is worth considering... ?
dh told me that if ds cannot make it to MS, he will consider St Pats (his alma matta) as they have a very good band.... we shall see... -
My girl got 244 + 2. Need some advise on which school is better and diif btw these 4 school since the COP are similar - Anderson, Crescent and Nan Hua and Anglician HIgh.

Hi,
I need help badly. Anyone knows if Holy Innocents and Mayflower Sec good? Which is better? Left with 2 days to make selection. Stressed. -
hi
Does anyone know anything about affiliation? if child is from an affiliated primary school, does that mean she will get first priority if she puts the affiliated sec school as 1st choice? Will there be a case where she is not considered? Please advise.
Thanks -
If your child is affiliated to a certain school and his T-score meets the COP, and if he/she still wants to go into the same sch, its a must to put first choice.
He can be rejected if his t-score falls below COP even thou he is affiliated. I heard many cases like that.
