The plot thickens... :censored:
Hope this will prevent such protest / strikes to happen again in Singapore from FT. If there is any unhappiness in work issues, one should discuss and settle with management or HR. Why must resort to such actions? It won't solve problems.

Ya right, let's ask Obama instead... :faint:3Boys:
I support raising wages for bus drivers, .....and raising fares.....and raising taxes to support our new high living cost environment.
You say the wages too low for Singaporeans, so I say raise wages so that Singaporeans can be hired. I mean it. And if wages go up, either fares go up or taxes go up or both go up, and I support both.
Is that an issue? -

I don't have a issue with it. -
well its either wages go up and fares go up
or wages go up and fares stay the same and management gets a pay cut/ pay stagnate
but weβre living in the real world
so itβs wages go up and fares go up -

The Malaysian no lodging.Daddy
Drivers from China earn a basic salary of S$1,075, while those from Malaysia earn S$1,375, the driver said.
The china worker has lodging.
Give them $1375 and ask them to find their own lodging, they go & see worth or not.
Now Singapore housing rental is so EXPENSIVE!!!
Yes, some media reports \"forgot\" to highlight this lodging issue.... reader's discretion advised.... -
Joule:
Advertisements on buses goes to who har? Under a separate entity for profit is it? If the heart is set out to keep fares from rising, I do not believe there can be no other way than to cut wages.well its either wages go up and fares go up
or wages go up and fares stay the same and management gets a pay cut/ pay stagnate
but we're living in the real world
so it's wages go up and fares go up
