                  hi puzzle,

i would keep my job if i were you... the children will spend most of their days in school anyway. it all depends on what your concerns are. in my opinion, ideally the children can stay at their grandparents' before/after school, and you can see them when you come back from work, so no need for maid.

i'm a SAHM and i'm hoping that i can go to work once my daughter enters primary school. i'm concerned that i would have a lot of free time (besides doing housework) while she's in school. working will give me an opportunity to utilize my talents (altho i'm not sure what they are... but i'm pretty sure i have one!) and give my daughter a chance to be more independent. at least that's what i hope.

                  Hey Flim,

Am dying to become a SAHM myself. I have only one daughter and love her to bits. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, find it difficult to quit. My company's medical coverage is good and they have been paying for my whole family's dental and medical. I can't imagine if I had to foot the bills myself.

It makes me very sad when my daugher says things to me like \"Mummy, I don't want you to go to work every day\" or \"Mummy, can you be like so-and-so's mummy because she fetches her from school every day.\" I become overwhelmed with guilt.

That said, I can understand that it could become very monotonous day-in-day-out trying to entertain a child. But hey, if I had a chance now, will love to spend more time with her.

having been a SAHM for 4 years, i have to admit things can get very boring...

Hi Mummies, I'm a stay at home mum with one gal 21 months old. I am doing business at home teaching people how to earn money by leverage on internet and social media beside my own business which was set up together with my husband.

Although I have a set up a business with my husband but I have been wish that I could work from home earning a recurring income during my free time and can give my daughter more time too. And I find that having a PLAN B is important to prevent recession time.

I always believe that work from home is possible. I have never give up searching for my dreams, till I found what I was doing now which gave me a recurring income and allow me to take care of my daughter and teach her as much things as I can. I was so happy that I see my girl progress and she is picking up so fast. And I enjoy what I doing now.

Hence mummies, don't give up. If you believe you can do it, you will able to do it. ๐Ÿ™‚

My ideal birthday prezzie is really simple.

No money required to wrap it.
No money needed to purchase it even.

Just a whole day out by myself. :please:

Helpers get the compulsory weekly by next year.
I don't mind if i get just one day.. (full day ok!) a year.

                    But i didn't geddit! :frustrated:

                    .

But i did get flowers from hubs! From the ever so practical person who doesn't believe flowers are worth it... or gives flowers for when he did wrong... :spank:... this was the ultimate surprise.

Plus the babies did sleep for 1 hour. ๐Ÿคท
I take what i can get. So i am contented.

                    I feel blessed. :please:

I smiled when i imagined it. (an off day)
I laughed aloud when i thought of all the things i'd do. (by myself)
But i realized, it was a dream that won't come true..... yet.

But still happy i do have a good life.

The life of a SAHM can be crazy.

We are in charge of everything...making sure kids have new school shoes, uniforms, clothes to wear...hygiene wise, we are not breeding mosquitoes. There is food in the fridge. We are both the good and bad guy at home...usually playing the bad guy role most of the time.
                        No life or MC.
I remember there was once my kids were sick and i brought them to see the doctor. I caught the flu from them but was too sick to ask doctor medication for myself :slapshead:

Sometimes, I don't know if I prefer holidays or school...with holidays, we can sleep late and do not need to monitor time all day. But I do not know how to get housework done with them at home.
