What brands of dryers are u guys using? Mine broke down because of the rain. Now not sure what reliable ones are available.
Electrolux. -
To be honest, my electricity bills also went up because of the dryer. So now I use sun but raining abit longer to dry. Must find a brand that can save on energy bills. My current out of order Borsch very high energy consumption.

i use my dryer partially. Mine is a washer cum dryer, after my laundry is washed, i let it proceed to dryer mode for 30-45 min (depending on weather and load).
When the laundry is all heated up, I’ll hang is up. The clothes by then are all steamed up, once hung, will be dried within a day. For those that needed to be ironed, i can even iron them directly. -

Not sure which brands are the energy efficient ones but I really like my electrolux pair - washer and dryer. Not too expensive too.
My place enjoys a fair amount of sunshine. Unless it is raining for consequetive days, I don't usually need the dryer. Each month, I probably use it for a couple of hours, mainly to dry the bedsheets and my child's uniforms. -
mine is electrolux too recommended by someone here last time. thank you so much !

want to get a dryer… but no place to put the dryer… sobz!

My morning sun is very strong…so I have no problems getting clothes to dry unless it’s year end weather. I do use a dryer occasionally, as the repairman said the on/off switch has to be used once a month or it will break if dryer is used once a year.
Using sun to dry clothes is better especially for undergarments. -

My mum also had her dryer mounted to save space.MintyMin:

Some dryers can be stacked on a frame. Have you considered those? And since dryers don't need plumbing, you could put a dryer somewhere else in the house other than the kitchen, although it can be rather hot. -
Really?! Hmm… den muz think about it… and find spots where i can put it…
the prob is i haf 2 top load washing machines… haiz… -
