Are male school teachers allowed to have long hair? E.g. fringes that reach eye level?

Of course, they are not allowed. Bad example for kids. Look like a sissy.

not sure if there is such a rule but I think it is up to school principal to enforce.

this also covers some parts of the specktrum e.g. coloured / highlighted / dyed hair for female teachers

Teachers must set the example by following the rules that they expect of students.

Teachers are supposed to be role models. Even ear ring for males should be discouraged.

Definitely msle teachers aren’t allow to keep their long hair; likewise, female teachers are supposed to keep a clean look as well.

I think it will be difficult for teachers or the school to have the moral authority to enforce any haircut rule, if the teachers themselves are not observing it.

For the same reason I think (smoker) teachers have better not smoke in schools.

One classmate who taught at a neighborhood sec school, however, jokingly said that he confiscated his students' cigarettes, and then go and smoke… we still don't know whether he was serious… 😂

                        to add to this…

Schools insist students to change out of their PE attire during recess back to uniform.
Citing hygiene as a reason… Do teachers change out of their sport attire after PE also?
