why is the time table for year 2 etc. not available ? it is already the last day of 2012 and the school is going to reopen in 2-day time ? what is happening to RVHS ?

HCI done the right thing to kick him out of their school early in his career, however, the RV alumni sitting in the board must certainly be all sleeping and let this guy trash the good name of the school.

The alumni of a government school unlike independent school has no admin power to negotiate with MOE for a principal candidate. That is one of the shortcoming of a government school.

HCI managed to discontinue his contract because an opportunity arised due to implementation of IP...no school will veto MOE under normal circumstances.

The new P has a tough job to do. I am looking forward to a better year for RV under her leadership.

Wonder if there'll be any changes to the iPAD programme. As a parent, I am against the programme. It has caused more harm than benefits to my child, and created more work for me. Just wonder how many parents out there having problems managing their children on the proper use of iPAD? :frustrated:

First day, new P has been walking around the school, talking to students. So far she has portrait a motherly feeling. Hope she can provide a family feel to the students School is their second home mah.

Great to hear that! But I heard that her English isn't too good? She has strange pronunciation for some words?? Not sure if my source can be trusted though ... :roll:

Daisy, Maybe your dd can help to 'rate' the 3 Ps later on. For some reason, the younger kids have grown to like Mr Koh and haven't adjusted to the style of the new P. Hopefully, their attitude will change with time.

agree with mxymum. we as parents and rv students pray hard together. New P’s capability to run an IP sch really worries me.
