Hello! πŸ™‚ after going to the CCA Orientation, I found that many CCAs interested me, but can any seniors recommend how many CCAs to try out for? What's the norm? Thanks! πŸ™‚

There isn't really a \"norm\", most people just try out as many as their schedules can fit, but do try out for those that you're interested in. I have had seniors who tried out for like 10+, even those that she had no intentions of joining, which I found a waste of time haha. Personally it's up to you, I tried for about 5, but there's no harm trying more if you have the time.

If we are wearing Pe shirt+pinafore, must we change into blouse during recess?

Yes you have to change into your blouse during recess, if not you'll get booked. You're only allowed to wear your PE Shirt if you're wearing culottes. πŸ˜†

But culottes are only supposed to be worn on Wednesdays right? How about other days if we have pe lesson? Sorry I'm quite confused about how we shld wear the uniforms

                Hi.

I am a Year 1 in RGS and I was just wondering whether we need to buy a school tie for tomorrow’s badge initiation or if we are going to get it in our orientation pack by tomorrow.
                Please reply asap!
                Thanks.
One friend from TAG scored 271...she is considered mainstream, I think. (I scored 270...ARRRGHH)

Hi, If your friend is confirmed a mainstreamer but in a GEP class now, then not all mainstreamers with above 270 t score (ie at least 271) are in GEP classes.

This means 271 is the cut off point for Mainstream High Scorer.
That's assuming jakaranda's friend is in RGS.

Hi, as regarding the CCA trials, it has come to my attention that the cca website is not updated to suit the 2013 batch yet, anyone facing the same problem?

My dd is a bit blur - is she supposed to wear PE shirt and culottes tomorrow and change into pinafore during recess?

What about the school tie? Is she supposed to have one already?
Last week I was told that there was no need to buy the tie because it would be given on badge initiation day. :?
