That's what my DS told me too. He was given a \"confirm\" in one sport and \"shortlisted\" for a few others. The teachers in charge just told him verbally but I think for those kids who have the attributes that a particular CCA is looking for, the teachers would have noted down their names. Hence, if those who are given \"confirm\" or \"shortlisted\" and put those CCA as one of their top choices, chances of getting in will be high.Hi I think those who are shortlisted for sports would be told. My boy told me he was shortlisted but I did not ask him if he was told verbally or if there was a list. Same for his friend who was shortlisted for a different sport.
Perhaps you can email the CCA teacher in charge. -

I have also heard some boys were told while others totally no mentioned at all. Does this mean that those who were not told at all do not have the potential in all the sport trials? Hence, for these boys, the selection are based on space availability only? Anyone has any idea on space availability for these sports? (e.g. badminton 10 pax, soccer 22 pax, rugy 15 pax, etc). Any idea when must the option be submitted?

I have sent an email to the school and requesting the school to share the vacancies for each CCA. Then we will be in a better position to gauge our ds chances of getting in. Hopefully I can get a positive response.

Campfire will be moved to hall in event of rain. -
I heard that options/choices for CCA must be submitted but anyone here know how to go about this? Is it online?

I was impressed with the Sec 1 orientation campfire and can feel the boys are filled with the Josephian spirit. Great thanks to the HOL/Class Tutors/PSL/PSF and everyone involved. :hi5:

Mr Tan mentioned the boys have been briefed on this, yes online and the online forms will be up by the next weekend.
My son's classmates was \"offered\" entry by a few CCAs. My son was only told by canoeing that he has good chance to get in if placed as first choice, the others didn't say anything so I guess means not good chance :rotflmao:
Indeed very well organised orientation, from the programmes to traffic co-ordination :rahrah: This morning my son was still singing St. Joseph's Call and We are Lasallians !
JRLam, did your boy recover in time to join the camp and campfire ?
