Just wondering, are we able to know how many had registered for the school during the point of registration before we submit our application? If case number already exceed the number of vacanies, we can go straight to our 2nd choice of school to apply. Thank you
In addition to what hellokittysingapore mentioned, you need to take into consideration the fact that there will be many withdrawals and registrations on the afternoon of the third day of registration (for P2C). Hence, you need to constantly obtain updates from the school of your choice on the statistics before you decide what to do. -
Yes I will be in the P2C category. Thank you for the extra information.

Anyone know the roughly schedule for P1 registration this year?
Will it be the same as in July?
I’ve check with MOE and they say the schedule is not out yet. -

Usually, it's around the same time, +/- 2 weeks. It may be slightly later this year compared to last year, as Term 3 starts only on 01 July.Anyone know the roughly schedule for P1 registration this year?

2012 Phase 2BHi all,
quite nervous on this year's P1 registration. Living in Jurong, fall in 1-2 km from Rulang PS, do you think any chance for P2B within 1-2 Km? Or I should forget about it as I see last year even within 1km need ballot? Headache......
Rulang
Balloting was conducted for Singapore citizenship children, residing within 1km of the school.
17 registered, 10 places
1 to 2 km : zero chance -
Hi,
I just realised that my husband has lost his primary school report card. We too cannot find the original copy of his PSLE cert.
Where can i get a copy of these so that I can use them for registration in phase 2A(2)? Thanks -

for phase 2C… if there a difference for within 1km, 1-2km and beyond2km ?
let’s say for my choice school which is within 1km… if i din get i can still go to another school which is within 1-2km for the phase 2C ballotting right ?
Or is it that for phase 2C, all distance will ballot at the same time ? -

Example 1: School A has 50 vacancies in a specific phase and 61 children applying, based on the table below. Home-School Distance Singapore <1km
Citizen / Permanent Resident
38 / 3
Between 1km and 2km
Citizen / Permanent Resident
10 / 1
>2km
Citizen / Permanent Resident
8 / 1
SCs / PRs
Total 56 / 5
As the total number of SC applications exceeds the number of vacancies, not all SC applicants will be admitted. The vacancies will be allocated to the SC children based on home-school distance in this order of priority—home-school distance is (1) within 1km, (2) between 1km and 2km and (3) outside 2km. In the above example, the 38 SC children living within 1km from the school will first be admitted, followed by the 10 SC children living between 1km and 2km from the school. After the 48 vacancies are taken up, the remaining 2 vacancies will be balloted among the 8 SC children living outside 2km from the school.
Example 2: School B has 50 vacancies in a specific phase and 54 children applying, based on the table below. Home-School Distance
<1km
Citizen / Permanent Resident
29 / 4
Between 1km and 2km
Citizen / Permanent Resident
15 / 2
>2km
Citizen / Permanent Resident
3 / 1
SCs / PRs
Total 47 / 7
As the total number of SC applications is less than the number of vacancies in this phase, all the 47 SC children will be admitted first and PR can still be admitted thereafter. The remaining 3 vacancies will be allocated to the PR children based on home-school distance in the same order of priority—home-school distance is (1) within 1km, (2) between 1km and 2km and (3) outside 2km. The 4 PR children living within 1km from the school will ballot for the remaining 3 vacancies.
