All About Parent Volunteers (PV)

Erm, you better check with SNGS first if they still accept PVs. I thought I saw someone post in the forum (not sure which thread) that they have stopped this scheme as there are too many pple balloting. The PV form is also not on their website any more.

Thank you Mishasha for your reply. I have submitted my so call proposal. It’s my first time writing one since I graduated from school donkey years ago! It’s so tough being parents now… have to crack our brains and dig out stuff my teachers taught me before. I’m really not hopeful that they will call me for interview as I don’t have the skills that the school wants. Haiz. Well. At least I tried.

Hi
I’m staying within 1km of Pasir Ris Primary but I realised that under phase 2C, we still need to ballot based on past year registration record. How do I increase my chances of registering my son whom is born in 2009? -
Apply for PV, Grassroot to get into Phase 2B ^_^

Hi all,
I am shortlisted for rgps pv interview. How is the interview usually? Anything that I should be looking out for? Thanks. -
I have also applied to RGPS for PV, but have yet to receive anything from them. Guess that means my application was rejected....:( Seems like I have to go for the Phase 2C route.
All the best to you WenWen! -

I also applied PV for RGPS and called them yesterday.
The school is still processing some of the PV application and scheduling the interview for the parents (I guess the school may process batch by batch based on their proposals).
So you still have the chance to be shortlisted.
Good luck! -
During my time, there were 180 applicants, shortlisted 80 for interview and eventually selected 40 PVs. I went through a panel interview and was asked how you could contribute to the school. I think your commitment to the school is most important.
