          most of the community centre has guzheng course. You can check your nearest cc.

            side track… gu zheng & er hu… which one is more difficult to learn?

              It’s a bit like the difference between piano and violin. Er Hu requires very good pitch or you can sound like you are "slaughtering the pig". Gu Zheng each string represents a note, and you get the sharps on half-depression, not so difficult for a beginner to start. Fingerwork and dexterity are important. Might be somewhat painful at first.

                thanks ammonite… so Er hu seems like more diff to learn eh… so er hu has different size too? will a small size kid suit er hu?

                        My girl is currently attending lesson with Regina.


                        Regina is very patient and my girl totally enjoys lessons with her.
                        Only 4 lessons and my girl is able to play one song without score and several others slowly with score. She has no music background.
