Interesting that this can be done...do post when you find the post on baking with thermal pot.Hi,
tried to \"bake\" bread in my thermal pot, it looks more like \"bao\" and very dense, not the fluffy type (or mayb I did not knead long enuf?) that i like. anyone knows if thermal pot can achieve the fluffy type? or only oven can?
btw, someone in this thread mentioned that I can find the steps in \"baking\" bread with thermal pot in the bread thread. But I can't find it? anyone can point me to it? TQ!

Thermal cooker is wonderful invention !!!
I remember how I used to prepare soup for dinner before we go out on Sundays. Can’t possibly eat 2 meals out, so will make a soup…boil for 30 min before putting inside the cooker. -

Thermal cooker is best invention ever. It is like slow cooker but doesn’t need any electricity. It uses thermal insulation to continue cooking. But to prevent moderators from saying we are all going Off Topic, you better go check thermal cookers out in the dedicated thread on thermal cookers. Let’s keep this discussion on tingkat dinners.

Thermal cooker is good for working women. I make simple soup for lunch…all dump in, got chicken, soup and vegetable (old melon, carrot, potato, Wong bok).
Tingkat…I am a fussy eater…but don’t have time nor energy to cook 2 meals. Headache thinking what to cook plus I’m lazy to mop floor after cooking. -

For one-pot dishes, Thermos and Tiger both make stainless steel wide mouthed food jars. Cost quite a bit but they retain heat quite well and fairly easy to clean
