Rejected? By who? Your kid? I'm not surprised, because the house-brands tend to be too \"kiddish\" for Secondary schoolers.

You can go to Zinc to buy. A lot of sec sch kids use this brand. My girl started using this when in P6.

            Hi

Thanks…eh…where’s zinc? Are the bags costly? Can withstand the weight as noticed the books are quite bulky?

There is one at Lot 1. There are many designs, some fabric, some leather. Price varies but affordable. Some sch have lockers so no need to carry heavy books, right?

I used Converse backpack when I was in Secondary school.

Till now, I still noticed many teenagers carrying this brand.

I won’t advise sling bag though as the weight might be too heavy on one side of the shoulder.

                  Hi compvale

You may wish to consider sports brand bags like Nike, Adidas and Converse. The shops at Queensway Shopping Centre give good discounts.

Some popular brands acceptable by these young kids are, Converse, Billabong, Crumpler, Zinc, Animals. Raffles City Shopping Center has Converse, Billabong, Crumpler and Animals there. So far I have seen, the price range is about $60 to $180.

If your kids have lockers (which I personally against this concept), you can get those sling type.
