After a decade of trying slimming salons, crash diets, appetite suppressants and all where the weight loss returns with a vengeance, I have found that the most effective weight loss is a combination of diet, exercise and a life-style change.

        Some of my learning:-
        - Understand why are you trying to lose weight? Is it to look good or for health reasons?
        - Having a buddy helps as you would encourage each other.
        - Vary the type of exercise - so that boredom does not set in
Agree with the earlier comment that cardio exercise does not sustain the weight loss. Consider a combination of resistance and cardio exercises.

you can continue to exercise (low impact) even pregnant. i run until 4 months plus.i swim until i was 7 months preggy.

you can do yoga too. better. i stop yoga as i feel some strain to my back , back then. i swim instead.

You are really right, I do excises everyday. Every morning, I go to work on foot, usually, I need work for more than 1 kilometer every morning. I also go home on foot in the afternoon, Usually , I need to walk about 1.2 kilometer to get home, so, I walk everyday,I think this is a good way to take excise.

will you be sweating when u reach office? i dun feel comfortable that way.. as meeting etc..

No idea how to motivate you. I never could drag myself out of bed that early previously, just for the sake of exercising. For me, I am exercising early in the morning due to change of routine. Kiddos started primary school and are in the morning session, so all of us need to be up by 5+am. Once up, I cannot get back to sleep and I do not need to be in the office that early so, best option, exercise.
