My gym trainer advised me to cut down on cardio exercises. I'm fine with weight training and floor stretching exercises (so will be continuing with my ABT classes) but gotta stay away from jumping kicking twisting kind of intensive cardio to avoid recurring knee pain.Jennifer:
I learned cycling when I was in p2. I seriously doubt I could pick it up any new sports in adulthood. Tried learning swimming when in Sec 1 and in my early 20s but to no avail.I am worse than you - cant swim, cant jog N cant cycle. Bugs my younger boy a lot bcos he wants to do the above but no kaki.
My elder boy told me cycling is fun after he went for cycling with his CCA club friends and the night cycle the school organised.

He came home in the evening with the comb in his hand ready to give to his wife.
He was surprised when he saw his wife with a very short hair cut.
She had sold her hair and was holding a new watch band.

To me, it is a communication breakdown.
When I was young watching TV drama, storylines usu. feature a man buying a surprise present for the woman, then the woman will be so happy that everything is a YES.
In reality, sometimes the man buys the wrong item. Intention to surprise is unreciprocated.
Then the man stopped buying surprise present.
Then the woman complains.

When I read this as a teenager , i too felt it was sheer waste. Argued with my teacher too.
But now , after being married , I understand the significance.
When you willing give up your prized possession to bring joy to to the one you love - without feeling martryed - that is what love is all about.
