i appealed to nygh in early dec and i have a confirmed place. umm... can anyone share with me will it be stressful in nygh? as i did not enter the school using my marks, i am afraid i cannot do as well as the others...
Just curious to know which sch were you offered before the appeal and how did you manage to appeal to nygh? -
allets:
...My nephew got 242 and was posted to Nan Hua, he appealed to VS, and managed to get in...
Wah, VS and Nan Hua so far apart.
Was VS his 1st choice?
Is he good in running?
What do you think contributed to his successful appeal? -
carebear:
Yup its his first choice, not about running, but i was told the principal made him commit to fulfil some task.. will find out more... Out of hundred over appeal letters to fight for ten seats.. i guess it muz be a tedious process.. but thankfully principal gave him the big \"WELCOME\" instantly.. unlike my colleague whom appealed for Haising Catholic, took her a week to know that her son got in... Man! thats agony!!! As if we din wait long enough....allets:

He doesnt take higher mt but had a recommendation letter from his pr.sch teacher so guess that helps. in fact today, NUSH called them and offer a place but think they settled for NJC. btw, the textbooks from RV were all returned to the bookshop for refund. -

Actually I think NJC is not a SAP school, so the extra for HMT is not counted. But why doesn't he goto NUSH ? Isn't NUSH better than NJC ? -

How do we find out what is the highest score for every school in the S1 posting results ?
Must we wait until the MOE book is out next year in Oct 2010 ?
Thanks
