Now why would you need to use in the toilet.........
or am i missing something?
gosh....i dont believe i am even responding to this post :faint: [/quote]I don't believe it either.
But you're right about one thing though. Doesn't need reception for this. As long there's enough battery charged up to use the vibrator function should suffice..... I think... :imanangel: -
What has this vibrator thing got to do with any of the service providers here?
Buds, you are being naughty :spank: -
I was replying to phone functions/features for toilet usage with minimal reception. Regardless of providers. :imanangel:

I've been with M1 since forever and I am a happy customer. :please:
My line has never been disconnected despite overlooking bill payments a couple of times or when I was still looking for a new job during certain phases of working life as a young adult who was still green with the ways of the world and of course with saving. Not even when the bill was $300... and I thank M1 for being graciously understanding. I cleared everything (accumulated balance amount) one shot once I was able to fork out the $. I didn't want to burden my parents for this small problem though they did offer if I ever needed financial help/loan (when in btwn finding a new job), I could just ask.
I swapped to M1 because Singtel sucks. Boo to ST... for sending me multiple reminders that cost like 55c (per reminder) and sending them sometimes up to like three to four times a month. These reminder amounts will automatically be included in your last accumulated balance. This, for bills that are beyond due date regardless of amount. They will disconnect should you ignore them. No other follow up will be made. Upon disconnection they tell you had you paid in full on time as stipulated, they wouldn't need to take such measures. Can't remember if there was a reconnection fee back then... Reception wise pales in comparison to M1 to date. Worse if you have multi-SIM, it won't be just your hph... the iPad won't work either. Hubs using ST with his Samsung wont get reception in our room when mine is a couple of bars strong. In the toilet? Don't hold your breath. No signal. But in this instance, it's a good thing. :rotflmao:
With M1, yes... I'm walkin' on sunshine. -
Anyone of you still on those old 12GB mobile plans? I'm holding onto mine from Starhub... but they refuse to give me LTE on that old plan, which I'm ok with even though I have an LTE phone. But the thing that makes me really mad is how they put those on this plan on such a low priority that I could hardly use mobile broadband when I am in congested areas (eg. Level 3 of Parkway Parade, and in crowded areas in shopping centres).

What's LTE, Chief?
 -

Long Term Evolution, or the so-called \"4G\" lor. What's LTE, Chief?

I am still holding onto it but I am with M1. Is that why my connection now is worse? :scratchhead:
12GB with M1 does not get 4G too.
How do you know that people with 12GB plan are put on low priority? -

Before they released the LTE plans, I never had ANY problems with connecting with HSPA. It was fast and reliable. When LTE became available, the connection was horrible. The phone couldn't hold on to any signal. And it was the same phone. Even after I upgraded to an LTE phone on my 12GB plan, I had the same problem. Never saw a 4G signal, and I could hardly hold on even to a 3G signal when I am in a busy place. My friends who are on the LTE plans and with the same telco had no problems at all, using the same phone as me. This happened so many times that it has gone past being funny. :rant:ChiefKiasu:

LTE = 4G. Okay, goddit.
12GB plans? :scratchhead:
Does 12GB refer to maximum data bundle?
Mine is under M1's iPhone Extreme Plan.
Took this plan up cos won't need to pay for the iPhone (back then during purchase). Plus also because it has the unlimited local data bundle on top of free incoming and some few hundred minutes of local (voice) outgoing). I also have the unlimited SMS which i super :please: love since i used to burst all my SMS counts till gotta pay extra. I use the iPhone for everything so this plan kinda suits me nicely. Never gave me problems until it decided to die on me for a month... until i could not take the withdrawals any longer, decided to get it to a shop to see if it could be revived. It could! Phew... The fella put in a new battery that cost me $70 plus service and it's good till now. :xedfingers:
Aniwaes in short.... for me whether it is the phone or its plan, no problems at all.
