        Hi, all...

I have a question... Chia seeds are just too fine and hard for digestion if we don't chew the seeds well... won't they get :imconstipated: out intact? I eat lots of sesame, this happens all the time when I didn't chew them well...

In this case, isn't the ground chia a better option?
not sure if it's hard to digest. but unlike sesame seeds, when chia is in contact with fluid, it will become gel-like.

          Hi,

What's the colour of the seed?
I need to make sure it's white if not my children will not eat.

Thanks, Jworld... what about the core part that don't turn into gel? :scratchhead: is it there that all the nutrients store?

I have both black and white chia... the white chia is not exactly white, more like cream color; when soaked, it turn into translucent gel-like liquid with the tiny black core visible.

                      Hi

Chia seeds are still available at GNC Yishun, Unity (Ang Mo Kio Hub), Holland & Barrett. Still very expensive. I think I will try to get from iHerbs or Four Season Organic Market as what others have suggested. 1kg for $47.80 is considered a good bargain.
