Hmm for last year, I think for 1 - 2km, all the SC managed to go in. They usually write the figures on the board.Kissgurami:
[quote=\"arielle08\"]Hi kissgurami,
Me a citizen. But this area, doesnt seems to have alot of PRs?
Wish there are a lot so that i can have an edge over them.
Btw, there seems to be alot classes for primary one. Are there any plans of reductions? Heard that some schools actually reduce the no. of primary one classes to cater to the capacity for single session.

They managed to keep 9 classes last year so not sure about this year. From what I understood from the school, this isn't within their control and rather MOE.
Currently, the single sessions seem to be working out well so chances are 9 classes of 30 students each are likely to stay
I am assuming that you are interested to register your dd in PL. Which phase will u be in? Based on your comment 'Risky', will u still be keen to register?
Just curious :siam: -

Dd2 will be in phase 1. Her jiejie is still in PLbebebub:
Compared to some other schools, PL ain't a school with a big enrollment to begin with. During my dd1's time, each P1/P2 class has about 30 plus girls (not sure if it is still the same now). As they move to higher primary, each class has about 40 girls.
PL is a great school. I'll be registering my dd2 in PL, too.
PL Is a great school. My girl is very happy there and teachers are very supportive.
I heard that there was balloting in Phase 2C last year for < 2 km (not sure - can anyone confirm?). Which phase whould you be in if you are thinking of registering?

Phrase 2C. But if don’t get in, it’s not the end of the world. Just have to strive harder and tell child buck up and see if can transfer in to this school with the good results.

Hi, can I check what are the CCAs that PLMGS excel in? What are the CCAs that they offer? What’s the likelihood of getting selected as a PV ? I’m residing within 1-2 km from the school but apparently, there are a few new developments sprouting near the school within these few years and I’m afraid competition will be tougher. Experienced mummies, pls advise! Thanks! Btw, my girl is born in 2009 and due for P1 registration in 2015.

Used to be choir, guzheng, hand bells but they seem to have changed direction. -
If my child likes dancing, drawing and IT stuff, will this school be suitable for my child in terms of its niche area?

Honestly, the school does not require PV unless you have very niche skills and time to support them. They have a pool of parent volunteers from the existing parents of children in the school. hence, the chance of PV is not high unless you have very special skills to offer.
