Sounds very familiar. I scold my daughter including my hubby. :mad:That hubby at home makes my blood boil sometimes...he never practise what he preach...we agreed NO TV but he switches it on, saying he wants to watch news...after that, he doesn't switch it off
If I am hanging laundry or doing something, then father, son and daughter will all be watching channel 8. Kids will get a shock when I walk into the room. -
I will scold all of them.
Hubby doesn’t know how to set example…so monkey see, monkey do.
Told son, if he doesn’t get that A for geography class test, I am going to lock up iPad with password. -

Yes, that is why my DD likes her father too[/quote]It is very common for daddy to play good guy & let mummy plays the bad guy. Daddy spends more time working & less time with the kids. He will prefer to pamper them whenever he can.

Daddy will always play GOOD guy...but I told him if he wants to spoil, I will push everything to him...planning revision, liaise with tutor, discipline issues, school and household stuff. Then I sit down and watch TV or play games.
When I caught them watching TV last night, I asked my son if geography is taught on channel 8...asked daughter if that Taiwan drama will help her pass spelling and asked hubby if he was watching news. :nunchuk: -

It may be a good idea for you to go 'on strike' for a week or so? Just leave the kids to study as much or as little as they want, and let them suffer the consequences. Nothing like suffering a bit for them to learn self-discipline.Daddy will always play GOOD guy...but I told him if he wants to spoil, I will push everything to him...planning revision, liaise with tutor, discipline issues, school and household stuff.
