Wa I know how you feel man. My cousin copies everything I buy. From clothes, bags and accessories, to makeup, to choice of mineral water. I get super frustrated, best part is like when I saw the same stuffs she buys, I will asked her:"eh this thing very familiar, you also have ah!" She will be like, :"Oh, I bought it long time ago". First of all she didn’t credit, secondly, she makes it like I’m copying her. Ultimate!


Some ways to tackle, I would say if you don’t want to hurt the relationship, j

Avoidance. Juust hide it from her everything that you buy. but you can’t runaway forever.

Ignorance. Which is what I choose to. Its their money, their choice, I let them do what they want but I know I always look better and more glamorous. I believe as long as your DD is happy, she has her own character and traits, ignore what others are doing. human compete human, you get super angry.

Confrontation. Tell her straight in her face. I dont actually have the guts to do it, as I mean I know she dont mean any harm.

Sacarsm. Sometimes I use this method. "wa you have A, wa, you also have B, wa… everything I have you also have." they sometimes get it but need to sharp and hit the points.

I want to seek advice.... regarding how to stop a family of 'copy cats'!

You see, my DD takes a sport and got to know her friend... after some time, we noticed that her friend/family has been copying her/us in some form or manner... such as:
- DD has a colored shoelace... after a few days... DD's friend has a different colored shoelace
- DD has a colored item for her sports equipment... after a few days/weeks... DD's friend has a different colored item for her same sports equipment
- DH offers to send trainer home.... soon... DD's friend's dad offers to do the same for the same trainer
- DD joins in any competition or training.... DD's friend will be there too
- DD attends 4x training... DD's friend attends 5x training (cos her friends always want to be better than her!)
- DD says she wants to aim for a certain secondary school... DD's friend says she aims for the same
- DD's friend also told us that her mom even noticed what color t-shirts we wear on competition days! :nailbite:

I know I cannot stop the family of copy cats, but this is really distasteful and irritating to the max!

Is there anything I can do? I need well-meaning advice.
