Wood burning smell in the air in balmoral/chancery area

I hope TV and radio can announce when air quality is bad so we can take precautions. My son’s school is doing NAPFA tests this week. It won’t be healthy for children to run in this haze. I hope the teachers notice it.

Seems like whole island is affected.
Nothing on the radio too unless I miss it. -
Maybe people working for TV, radio and relevant ministry are working inside air-con offices so they are not aware of the poor air quality.

Likely island wide today. Chatting with friends on whatsapp, all remarked on poor air quality.

They were talking about it at 95.8 radio station earlier..Seems like whole island is affected.

Yes, I will also have DS bring along inhaler to school everyday. He knows what to do when he feels discomfort. At home, I shut all windows and turned on air con, intend to keep it on for the rest of the day.Yes I could smell it very badly when I left my home around 4pm. My nose started running and my preschooler keeps coughing.
good idea on keeping inhaler on hand. Ds didn't need it until of late. I feel so
worried for him. Would really like to know the source for this haze. -

Yes,exactly.The smell got worse after the rain. Actually,i oredi started experiencing this smell last Thursday.I called NEA,the officer asked me to look out for any smoke ard my area,but i couldn't find any.Then he told me could be Chinese burning the paper for 7th month,asked me to ignore it :scared:Though it was raining this morning, the rain came with a burnt smell.
The burnt smell was quite strong in the late morning rain. I thought some electrical appliances short circuited and went round the house checking.
Now it is hazy.
