      Hi Parents,

very interesting forum by the way. Litlle did I know that there is such forums for parents to share with other parents. Ok, how i came about to this forum is by searching for "looking for badminton coach singapore" at google.

Straight to the point, I am a full time badminton coach myself. Not here to promote my services but to assist parents who really want their kids to play better badminton, ie with information you need like where to train, who you can find at your area, what kind of rackets and where to get cheap/afforadable/light/new technolgy rackets and other accessories.

So, If i may be of any help, pls do not hesitate to ask me anything about badminton.

Do welcome me onboard and have a pleasant week. Thank you.

Thanks but I'm looking at more affordable rates.

              Hi TIA,

I am not sure of any coaches who conducts training over that area. However most coaches are willing to travel if the price is right. And there are coaches w passion who are willing,to travel if the kids parents are dedicated enough. So if u fall into either of the two categories, u may want to drop me a pm and I could tie u up w a coach perhaps?

On another note, CCs do conduct badminton sessions too. They are conducted by PAs coaches whom are equally certified. Some of my friends are also in that scheme as coaches. You may want to drop by ur nearest CC to find out more.

Hope my info has served u well..

Hi, my son p4 @intermediate level recently started hourly 1to1 & 2 hrly group trainings with ex-national players Hendri Saputra & Hendra Wijaya (brothers). We play at either kembangan CC (near my pl) or SPore Badminton Hall @Aljunied.

Considering their reputation as ex-national players, their rates of $60 an hr for 1to1 & $110/mth for 2hrly weekly sessions, are really very good value. And for group sessions, no more than 5 students per coach!

My girl p1 just started badminton, this year, and I’m looking for anyone else interested to form a group training with Hendri. Just 3 more players as Hendri is willing to start a class with just 4 players. Sundays 2-4pm tentatively, @SBH.

                Anyone interested?

Yeah, I think so that his pricing is quite steep but after went for his trial I notice the difference. Not only the student ratio per court and also the quality of his assistant coaches. My son likes it there and since he is in the school team now, im quite happy.

Yes. I went for grouping before. I guess it is quite competitive. So many everywhere. Boils down to the pricing I guess. 1 to 1 is more focused. Also need to make sure that those ex-nationals are not just using their name just to sell and use other coaches while they are not at the court area to supervise. Kind of like exploitation at times. No more meaning if they are not they. Not sure if the price is worth it. All coaches should be NCAP qualified now days. So, it doesn’t matter, which ex or non-ex players. Time commitment is also a problem.
