Busy with your P5 prep for PSLE?
Your twins going to their elder bro's school? -
Hi mummies
I am sure you all are same as me considering which school to register for your 2007 born kids. What are the criteria you would place it as most important ? School performance or distance ?
If you are given 3 choices,
(1) A 3 mins walking distance but not so good neighbourhood school
(2) A 10mins walking distance school but need to cross 2 traffic lights ( with a maid ), but relatively better performance school
(3) Same school as their elder brother - a future school, but a 1hr school bus journey with only morning session school
Seeing the elder so tired travelling daily make us re-considering if we should give up the seats in the future school and put the younger in walking distance neighbourhood school.
Appreciate your feedback and comments. Many thanks in advance. -

I have both LCentral and I Can Read materials. I find LCentral materials more up to date and more interesting. Both materials are of good learning quality.Hi hi

If I were you, I would choose option 2 because it is a better performance school than option 1 school. However, for safety reason, will choose school bus instead of maid fetch. I will not consider option 3 as the long distance and travelling time will take a toll on the young child.Hi mummies

Dear Sembgal
Thank you so much for your comments. It helps a lot ! Cheers !! -
Someone shared that it will be a waste if I do not register my child in a school that is affiliated to secondary school. She said that many parents had headache thinking which schools to send their children to after release of PSLE results. Now, do you think itโs important to get an affiliated school?

Hi. I am new to this Forum. My girl is January 2007 baby.
Will be trying Hougang Primary School instead of Rosyth as it is very competitive.
Would appreciate comments on Hougang Primary School very much.
Meanwhile, does anyone send your 6 yr old for Guzheng lesson? Could you please share your experience? i.e. who is your teacher, how much, etc.
Thanks!
