HI I don’t remember there was eye sight check in the usual checkups. I think usually the first eyesight check is in K2 where MOH people would go to all the kindergartens. We have also not noticed our kids squinting their eyes or reading at particularly close distance either. But having come to terms with it, I think it was a blessing in disguise that it was discovered before it starts to affect their learning in school.

Busy with your P5 prep for PSLE?
Your twins going to their elder bro's school? -
Hi mummies
I am sure you all are same as me considering which school to register for your 2007 born kids. What are the criteria you would place it as most important ? School performance or distance ?
If you are given 3 choices,
(1) A 3 mins walking distance but not so good neighbourhood school
(2) A 10mins walking distance school but need to cross 2 traffic lights ( with a maid ), but relatively better performance school
(3) Same school as their elder brother - a future school, but a 1hr school bus journey with only morning session school
Seeing the elder so tired travelling daily make us re-considering if we should give up the seats in the future school and put the younger in walking distance neighbourhood school.
Appreciate your feedback and comments. Many thanks in advance. -

I have both LCentral and I Can Read materials. I find LCentral materials more up to date and more interesting. Both materials are of good learning quality.Hi hi

If I were you, I would choose option 2 because it is a better performance school than option 1 school. However, for safety reason, will choose school bus instead of maid fetch. I will not consider option 3 as the long distance and travelling time will take a toll on the young child.Hi mummies
