Hi mummies,
Any of your kids staying back in school for CCA? My son (P2) is keen to participate in Taekwondo. Training session ends at 4.15pm. Bus will only pick up at 5.15pm. As such, hubby & I intend to pick him up on our own. However, we may not be able to meet the gate timings for car pick up. As such, can I ask my son to wait at the benches at the foyer and only come out of the gate that is controlled by the security guards (Gate B) when he sees our car? -

Dear Parents,
I understand that some of the P2 kids are starting their swimming lessons in July'13.
Some may hv started earlier?
Any parents can share how they conduct the lessons?
Kids being kids, I'm kinda worried
I'm not sure if the Sch bus sends him back or we may hv to make our own arrangements.
Anyone can advise?
:thankyou: -

Hi, based on my experience (my boy in P4 now), the bus will send the children back to school only after the swimming lesson. -

I am a parent volunteer for my boy when he is in P2, 2011, for the swimming lessons.
At that time, they have around 30-40 students and there are 4 coaches available to lead each group. 2 teachers will be following as well as 2 parent volunteers.
They will be group based on their swimming skills. Those who cannot swim at all will form a group, those who can swim slightly will form another group....
At that time, when I am involved, as it was quite rush to rush from sch to warren country club after sch, they are advised to eat filling food for recess and light food for lunch. After the swimming lessons, they are just required to dry themselvesand change back into their uniform / PE attire as there is no time for 30-40students to bath, and they will bring along their snacks and eat after the lessons. We, the parent volunteers brought along some snacks as well in case some kids did not bring.
Then the sch bus will send them back to DLSS.
Hope that this information is useful.littletiger10:

Hi P1 parents,
Which list should we revise for next week’s English spelling and listening tests?
