it's ham sandwich. dc loves broccolli so i'd panfry smaller cuts of florets and they'll eat them anyway they want with their sandwich.

yes, i make my own yogurt. i use yogurt everyday so i thought i can do without those added sucrose and artificial stabilizers etc.

      :thankyou: for sharing.

Please share your yoghurt recipe :please: Do we need special equipment? I saw NTUC selling a yoghurt maker that runs on electricity.

      you're welcome.

no special equipment needed. i usually make about 1litre a batch to last me a few days.
i use a saucepan fill up with about 800ml of cold milk. i use meiji full fat milk. heat up with low fire till almost boiling. always stirring continuously to prevent burning. that was supposed to kill whatever bad bacteria still in milk. thereafter remove from fire and allow to cool to about 43degree celcius. i do not have a thermometer hence i use my skin. as long as i can hold onto e outside of the saucepan without burning means it's ok for me.
then, i use about 3 tablespoon of a starter yogurt batch. i use what's left of the old batch. for new starters, can buy any plain storebought yogurt as starters. i started with marigold plain yogurt. mix with a little of the boiled milk to thin the yogurt and add into the saucepan of cooled milk. wrap up saucepan with a towel and place in a warm place in your house for 10hrs. i leave it infront of the fridge.
      easy and healthier version.

i'll try to post a pic when i make a new batch this evening.

ps. pop whole saucepan into fridge to cool fresh yogurt to firm up consistency and would be ready for use in a few hours. and remember to keep a clean starter yogurt for your next batch.
