My wife might be posted out too next year.Destination is confirmed but won't want to reveal where she is going.A lot of changes but everyone must be like jellyfishes and go with the flow. -

more adjustments to make in the near future it seems.. -
MrsKiasu:
teaching is definitely an iron rice bowl in MOE. FF's wife is still young and has potential to go far. working in private sector is not safe...one can be replaced by FTs, young grads or automation.

FF,
hope your wife gets posted to a school nearer home. with a newborn and 2 girls to coach, she will be busier. -
janet88:
Both our jobs are basically iron rice bowl jobs.As long as you perform reasonably and with good bosses,I am sure one will be given due recognition in term of job prospect.

My wife teaches for the passion of teaching but sometimes gets disheartened or discouraged at times. That's when the spouse comes in with words of encouragement.
My wish for next year is for the new baby/babies to be born healthy and strong, both DDs to be understanding and study hard.DD1 is actually quite excited at the thought of being the big zehzeh. -
New baby or babies? Wow congrats to fishF!
Yes teacher is iron bowl, and can go for 1/2 load , part time etc, v Pro mummy one.

your wife would have had her first ultrasound by now...so she would have known whether there is 1 baby or twins. i do wish your wife has a healthy baby and a smooth delivery.

Thanks,Janet…
I will know the results of the ultrasound scan when I get home in a few days.
I am just worried about the peak period that is looming for my wife after the August period. And also for DDs too who are going to take their end year exams. -

i can imagine your excitement when you reach home, see your wife, 2 princesses and a growing foetus.
no matter how stressful things can be, it will be over. this is what i am telling myself when hubby gets better...honestly, my nerves are really frayed because he is not an obedient patient.
