      verykiasu,

I know some of the kids in his class have high-end models of Sony Ericsson, Nokia etc etc…I saw the kids using from the last outing when I volunteered my services.
It’s better that my kid doesn’t use too sophisticated models for fear of him losing it. That would be a BIG heartbreak. As long as he is reachable and hp is light, that’s most impt.

        Agreed.

Out of curosity at what age do you guys provide HP for your child?

I was thinking of getting my dd only when she reach Sec1, seems like time has changed and a lot of them is having it in Primary school.

I passed a handphone to my son when he was in P3...he had to stay back after school for remedial and we needed to reach him. The agreement we have is call out from hp only when outside, he is not allowed to exceed 100 min or else phone will be confiscated.

              daisyt,

My son is using my Sony Ericsson W890 as it’s the slimmest and lightest.
I won’t pass my iphone 3gs to him if I upgrade…most prob pass to hubby. Can’t trust him with it yet.

I pass her my iphone3Gs but her plan still remains, no data plan. Its is not necessary at the moment. If she needs go online or download appls with iphone, she would do it at home with WIFI. My hubby also has ip4 😄 We are apple family.

does anyone have ipod touch v4? Heard it is as good as iphone 4 without phone function. I like the apps but not the phone.

I told hubby I have forum users here who are ladies and users of the new iphone 4. He looked at me and said, ‘ok, what have you been reading?’ I told him, ‘iphone talk’. It’s hard for me to switch back to Nokia now, although I’ve been using 3GS for just 5 months…great for those sleepless nights.
