Wow, that is really very special. You must have meant a lot to him and he is sooooooooooo sweet. Most guys would only treat you to a makan. -
i like diamonds too  and my most expensive buy is from cartier.
but the joints in my mid finger and ring finger are a bit swollen (due to years of cracking them) so i cant really wear rings with a single stone setting because the ring will turn round and round. -
remind me of this song…
钻石,钻石,亮晶晶。好像天上上亮的星。。。
The biggest one is my wedding ring from my hubby.
Don’t really fancy about jewelry. -
Pre-kids, I do wear some accessories. Post kids, everything came off. 1stly due to pregnancy, fingers swell so cannot wear rings, then baby came along, got scratched by bracelets and pendants so off came those as well. Then off came the ear studs as well as the baby keep yanking at them. Now that kids are older, my accessories are coming back.
I have quite a few diamond pendants, rings, necklace, tennis bracelets, ear studs, some with certs some dun have. For our wedding, I had xi dian zuan instead of jin. DH bought me quite a few diamond items. He said cos he notice that all my accessories seem to be diamonds. Moreover it is my birthstone so he gather, cannot go wrong. Now that I am older, I am starting to appreciate pearls and even jade. But none of them the super expensive high end type. DH has been talking about getting me a 1 ct. diamond ring which I told him I dun want. Fingers too skinny to carry off big designs and I am afraid I too chor lor, will knock the diamond off its setting. -

[/quote]Just thinking about your first posting......... I've just realised that I've never had the oppor to experience a gift from a b/f first pay check. The only student that I had ever dated went on to UK to cont his studies. By the time he came back, I had moved on and broke it off. Hmmmm, I wonder what he would have bought me with his first paycheck ? Guess it won't be anything substantial cause he started off as a trainee auditor/accountant.

that lead to another question.. will u return the rock if 1 fine day the r/s is off??
i got this ex-colleague she shared that she kept the 1carat big rock though she did not accept the proposal.. or did she accept the proposal and later on the marriage din take place..
either way..
we questioned her then why she still keep and wear the ring she retort 'so big leh, u won't keep meh??'
honestly, i won't.. -

This happened to my colleague too. She accepted ex-b/f proposal and the ring was made to measure, engraft her name too. Something happened b4 the ring is ready and their called off. But she din keep the 1 carat ring leh.....

Maybe your ex-colleague think that, the ring engraft her name and the guy can't give it to other. So, must as well keep n wear it. -
that day went in to poh heng jewellery at park way parade and saw a very beautiful diamond ring but the manager(i supposed) is damn arrogant…so angry… :x
