小兵迎大将

Just saw this programme tonight on TV. It was pretty entertaining.
Tonight was 公教小学. Overall it was impressive.
Some questions I was surprised that the children could not answer(eg. the P4 Chinese question related to 遭遇) but it was clear that the adults were really clueless about Science,
I included...   -

next few episodes will have RGPS, NYPS, and who else ?

It was pretty good. But I really thought that cross-dresser guy is totally inappropriate for a show like this. It is one thing to cross-dress and behave like an old grandma like Jack Neo. It is another to dress and behave like a woman in a show which I assume lots of kids would be watching.

Imho, Dennis Chew is one of the more talented and knowledgeable DJs/artistes in MediaCorp. Perhaps that is why they got him into the show.
The Auntie Lucy character is popular among kids. MediaCorp might have felt that she would be better able to strike a chord with the children, as well as attract adult viewers. -

They should get a more knowledgeable person to help the student rather than having Dennis Chew just to crack jokes.

not only must the kids be able to know how to solve the questions, they must be able to read and understand chinese in the first place (in this instance, i am looking forward to the performance of SAP schools cos their Chinese standard should be higher)…and in the first place, it is not easy to get 30 students in the same school with the same high/acceptable level of chinese proficiency level to solve chinese questions as well as science and math knowledge to tackle that section. MHO.
as for the rules, did the sch get to keep the $$ that the ‘soldiers’ guard?
