          I just use excel. then copy and paste in paint and save it as a file. Then upload using the tiny pic.

          Experts use much nicer and colourful models, havent asked them what they use till now ...

            That's pretty much what I do too.

            But I fill the boxes with colours...hence more colourful. 😉

                  Teo [_____][_____48]
                  law [_____]

                  After
                  Teo[______][______]
                  1u-->48-10=38

                  Mrs Teo is 38+48=86kg 3 months ago.

                      A packet of beads was shared equally among 28 girls.
                      8 girls decided to give up their beads to the rest.
                      As a result, the rest of the girls recd 2 more beads each.
                      How many beads were there in the packet at first? Ans: 140

                        As a result of the 8 girls giving up their beads, the remaining 20 (ie 28-8) girls received 2 more beads each.
                        So the 20 girls received 20*2=40 extra beads in total
                        The 40 beads came from the 8 girls, so it means originally the girls each had 40/8=5

                        This means that the 28 girls have 28*5 = 140 beads altogether
