      Hi,

I have 3 kids. Next year, DS1 will be in P2, DS2 in K2 and DD who is turning 2 will be going to full day child care from Jan 2011 onwards.

Currently my mum stays with me during the weekdays. She looks after the kids while I am at work. We got her a maid to relieve her of the housework as my mum is coming to 70.

As there are so many of us, we drive a 7 seater.

I only intend to recycle the textbooks. Even then, this is subject to no new updated version of the textbooks.

MummyThreeStreams, with 3 kids, you can cope without maid?

what abt junrahmat and phankao, got maid?

just curious, are you all sahm or ftwm?

my maid only came after #3 was born.
We've not brought our maid out in the past 12 years at least, I think, so car can sit, lah. I used to work, just stopped. Too much juggling.

i do know of a friend who has 3 kids and no maid, no grandparents to help. she also does part-time work from home like me. really must salute.

people always ask me how to cope with 3 kids, i always wonder what abt others wif 4 or 5. i attended a couple empowerment course before. the speakers (a couple) have 6 kids. their photographer also have 6 kids!

just curious, did u all PLAN to have that number of children? my #3 was unplanned, but a gift from God. she’s very different from the other two, having good n bad role models from #1 and #2.

do the kids fight for tv shows, or other things?

            ?
Nothing unusual. There are families with 6, 7, 8 and no helpers at all (and no grandparents).

                I have 3 kids; 1, 3 & 5 YO. Still considering if I should try for #4 next year.

I have a maid when #2 arrives. Both my DS1 (K1) and DD2 (N1) are in now childcare while DS3 is taken care of by my helper at home. My dad comes to my place daily to supervise my helper.

If we go out without my helper, we will drive one car (normal sedan). DS1 will sit in his booster seat at the front passenger seat. I will be sandwiched between DD2 and DS3 (in their toddler car seats) at the back passenger seat.

                  I hv 3 kids too.

                  DS1 is 6, DS2 is 4 and DS3 is 2.

I am a SAHM (quit my job > 1 yr) to give 24hours a day to my kids, and I am fortunate that my mother cooked and father delivered the meals to us.

I have a weekly helper and we are contented and comfortable with a sedan, Latio.

Only recycle the books if condition is good. Kids will always fight for things, we just need to exercise fairness.

24hr-mum, I love kids and it’s always my dream to have 4 kids. Financially will be tough to raise 4 kids so that’s why we (me and hubby) are still considering.

that’s great. i also thot whr shd have #4, preferably a boy cos i already have 2 girls and my only son lacks a boy play mate. but my boy alrdy 5, age gap will be too big also.

i cant imagine startg all over again, breastfeeding round the clock, cooking bb porridge, and stil hving to have a maid, the cost, the tuition fees (will hv to cut down for #1), bringing all the barang barang ev time we go out its like camping cos ev kids wants to be entertained by his or her unique toys when waiting for others to finish eating when we r out, etc.
