yeast is not that good to eat ?
-
Its not that. My point is that sugar has a greater effect on the rise than yeast. Some of you may have been trying to get the bread to rise a bit more by putting in more yeast without much success. Try adding a bit more sugar instead of yeast.

Hello all, I've been baking bread using the bread machine for a few years now, and I would love to share ideas and get inspired here
Last week, I made some green tea bread by putting in 1tbsp of green tea baking powder into a 3 cup recipe... and it was lovely because of the nice fragrance. -

Yes, together with the ham.
wow   btw you followed the normal recipe and when the beep sounded you put the garlics right?silk magic:
Kind of bored while waiting for the PE results so I tried to bake a garlic bread with a slight twist. What I did was to try in the garlic and ham bits into the dough and bake it together.
I fried the garlic (still yellow in colour) with a bit of sugar before putting into the dough.
For people who love garlic, the smell is heavenly. For people who hate garlic, do not try this at home as the whole house smell of garlic for the next few hours. -

Hi everyone,
I am new to breadmaking. I treid to follow some recipes and baked by hand. However, its time consuming and the results were less than ideal.
After reading this thread, I am set to get a Z machine. The prices is quite high at $400+ (Robinsons Ctr Point). Anyone has any idea where its cheaper?
I missed the previous OG sale

WOWโฆ you bread creators are so inspiring! I too am reluctant to get a breadmaker, to avoid a white elephant and mainly because dh makes lovely focaccia (sp?) in our convection oven. I cant stand the kneading and mixing ;o
But we are really finishing big loaf of white bread super fast and I would want to make healthier versions. The pictures and rave reviews of affordable breadmakers are really tempting meโฆ -
Thanks Maid fr the contact. I will check it out.
Is it true that Spore only carries the mini but not the supreme?
