Finally made my way to the eatery.

Free seating as mentioned by tankee.
Some seats were inside and others outside.
      Menu is on the wall.
Go in and order like a fast food restaurant and they will call your number when order is done.
Ordered a cod and chips for $17- it was delicious and the meat was thick. The batter was unique.
Battered mars bars were delightfully sinful - $5.

Things that i did not like were
      1. No chilli sauce
      2. No tartar sauce
      3. Fish wrapped up in paper, no plates given so difficult to eat when it is windy.
      4. Too much salt in the fries.
      5. For that amount of money paid, i would expect better service.

      Will I return for more?
The answer is likely no, unless i happened to be in the vicinity and other food stores are crowded.
:yikes: How to enjoy fish and chips without tartar sauce??

That's why i found it dry and hard to swallow.
But overall the fish was fresh.

They have tomato sauce and HP sauce, didn't see vinegar.
          However they sell curry sauce.

The only thing i would go there for would be the fried mars bar.

            Is dis a British joint?
British fish n chips r traditionally served n eaten only with salt n malt vinegar.
Try it, though I skip d salt.
            :celebrate:

I miss my salt and vinegar fish and chips...Too bad they don't do vinegar, or I would go
it'd be nice to have some fried mars bars though.

Now then I recall, there is a container containing some light brown liquid next to the salt container and that should be the vinegar!

I was wondering what it was, and i thought it was light soya sauce! :clubmyself:

Ooh! Was it really vinegar? My mouth is watering as I speak! Me thinks a trip there is in order!

Okie okie, I better qualify that I did not read Tankee's first posting .... and that I am aware how traditional British Fish and Chips are served. Had I not been soooo hasty in posting, I would have realized that Smiths serve Authentic British F and C.

But I still personally like mine with tartar sauce though .....

I have a thing for anything sour...
